Before the Law - Franz Kafka

I had a quite a few minutes of free time at work today and among the many things I found to occupy my time, reading Kafka was one of them.  There is a very interesting parable called "Before the Law".  This is a very abstract story with minimal amounts of exposition... it is a very short tale.  If you care to read it... here
